Michelle Laitinen Director
As a Director in the Dallas office, Michelle Laitinen is primarily responsible for leading buy- and sell-side transactional due diligence projects, as well as managing client relationships and client service teams.
Michelle has more than 12 years of experience assisting both private equity and corporate buyers and sellers with financial and operational due diligence. She has worked on over 200 transactions with both domestic and international clients in a variety of industries, including energy services, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, marketing, advertising, consumer products and services. Additionally, she developed and implemented the TAS service line training at Riveron that is still in place today. Michelle enjoys collaborating with clients, guiding them through the due diligence process and providing advice to help meet their needs.
Michelle is actively involved with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, serving on a panel for the grants allocation process. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on financial management and accounting and a Masters of Accountancy, both from the University of Arkansas, and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Michelle is a native of Arkansas and has been in the Dallas market for the entirety of her career.
Prior to joining Riveron, Michelle worked as a senior financial analyst at Invesco and manager in Ernst and Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in Dallas.
