Chris Jantz + Senior Director

As a Senior Director, Chris Jantz performs client service and leads teams in the field. His primary responsibilities include due diligence and strategic planning and analysis services including complex business modeling, forecasting and budgeting, and business analysis.  Chris brings over 15 years of diverse experience in industry positions, as well as director-level financial analysis positions, and significant transaction expertise.  He has primarily served clients in the energy, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and hedge fund industries.

Chris brings a strategic and practical approach to client service, helping execute needed analysis and collaborating with the client to gain insight into complex financial issues.  Through his work of building complex financial models, he has helped evaluate valuation for the buying and selling of numerous projects.  This transaction experience has enabled him to understand complex business issues and manage ambiguity in a highly efficient manner.  His focus areas are leverage buyouts, sell side preparation, buy side financial due diligence, line of business profitability, and statistical modeling. 

Chris is a native of Dallas, Texas, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in International Finance from Thunderbird, School of Global Management. Through his work and MBA studies, Chris has lived in Houston, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; Havana, Cuba; and Guadalajara, Mexico.  Chris joined Riveron after serving Enron as an analyst in the associate program.  He also held several senior financial analyst positions with Trinity Industries and Greatwide Logistics Services.
