Riveron Consulting Enters Atlanta Market with Key Hire and Office Lease
Riveron Consulting, a unique financial consulting firm serving middle-market private equity funds, mezzanine and senior lenders, family offices and public and private companies, announced today the launch of its Atlanta office with a lease signing and appointment of Tom McGurk as Director of Business Development. As Business Development Director, Tom McGurk will jump start Riveron’s presence in Atlanta, enabling the firm to build a full-complement team in the market. The firm anticipates adding more Atlanta-based personnel by year-end, and will support McGurk’s efforts through market visits by team members across all current offices.
Headquartered in Dallas, Riveron helps clients maximize the value of both strategic and financial transactions throughout the business transaction life cycle, including acquisition, integration, operations and divestiture. McGurk is an entrepreneurial professional with 25 years of experience in creating and sustaining high-value relationships, implementing highly effective sales strategies, and starting and managing fast-growing business units. His successful experience includes selling services to Fortune 500/1000 firms, hiring and training salespeople, implementing dashboards and sales compensation systems, overseeing delivery of services, and management of dynamic teams.
Tom comes to Riveron from Visual Risk IQ, LLC, where he served as vice president of sales and marketing for the internal audit services firm focused on technological approaches to solving client issues. McGurk also served as vice president and managing director at Titus, where he helped grow the company’s Atlanta office significantly over the course of his tenure. Other relevant career experience includes leadership roles at Accretive Solutions and Jefferson Wells International. In addition, he has 10 years of sales experience at AT&T and Bank of America.

Tom graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He resides in the Dunwoody suburb of Atlanta with his wife, Monica, and their three children.
