Riveron hires new director to grow Chicago office
Riveron Consulting’s Chicago office hired business development and leadership veteran, Tony Martorano, as a director of business development to help expand the company’s presence in the Midwest.
Martorano will be responsible for senior leadership in sales and business development, creating revenue growth through relationship building. Riveron is a financial consulting firm serving private equity funds, firms growing through strategic acquisitions, and companies seeking to maximize the value of business transactions. The firm has offices in Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Washington, DC.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Martorano is skilled in presentations and negotiations, building senior level relationships, as well as developing and implementing short and long term sales strategies and goals. He joins Riveron from Grant Thornton International in Chicago, where he served as a business development executive. In this role he worked with the transaction advisory team to increase business with investment banks and private equity groups. Prior experience also includes launching the Chicago office for Florida-based Steven Douglas Associates, and serving as CEO and co-founder of Broadpeak Collaborative in Dundee, IL. Additionally, Martorano spent seven years with Resources Global, an international professional services firm in Costa Mesa, CA.
Martorano attended Illinois State University where he received his bachelor of science in accounting; he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Riveron Founder Landon Smith notes, “Tony has strong start-up and leadership experience, and has proven success in selling and servicing business to new accounts. He will make a great addition to the Chicago team.”
Riveron Consulting is pleased to announce that David Dollinger has joined the firm’s Houston office as Director, with responsibilities over business development and expanding Riveron’s presence in the marketplace. Dollinger spent the past 7 years selling a broad range of professional services, including audit, tax, business/transaction advisory, valuation, litigation support, technology and enterprise risk. His new position will involve building relationships and familiarizing private equity firms, public and private companies with the firm’s capabilities. Riveron serves the middle market, exceling at transaction-based special projects, including acquisition due diligence, support in post-transaction integration, improvement in financial operations, and guidance in planning and achieving exits, including corporate sales and IPOs.
Prior to his move into business development, Dollinger spent close to 10 years as a financial analyst for a Houston-based global energy firm and then as owner of an IT services company. In his most recent position prior to joining Riveron, Dollinger worked for a large, full-service accounting and advisory firm, calling on C-level executives of middle market companies.
Dollinger earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Texas A&M University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Institute of Internal Auditors, Houston Producers’ Forum, Alliance of M&A Advisors and the Greater Houston Partnership. Dollinger is also deeply involved in the Houston community, serving a number of organizations such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Prison Entrepreneurship Program and as a baseball and soccer coach.
Managing Director Matt Bender of Riveron’s Dallas office said, “In this period of significant growth for the firm, David’s leadership, relationships and familiarity with the energy industry in Houston are a valuable addition to our team of transaction and financial operations experts currently serving middle-market companies and private equity firms in the Houston area.”
