David Brown Director
As a Director, David Brown is responsible for practice development and relationship management at Riveron. With more than 20 years of experience, he brings a diverse professional background to Riveron, including Big Four public accounting, commercial and investment banking, consulting and asset management experience.
David enjoys working collaboratively with a team of intelligent people at Riveron, and helping to serve a diverse base of growing clients. He has executed and performed numerous audits (at PwC), due diligence engagements, credit analyses, risk management profiles, capital raises, and M&A advisory and restructuring engagements, with a strong track record of business development. His experience in several facets of accounting, finance, and strategy allows him to look for solutions from several different angles.
Active in his community, David has served as a Junior Achievement of Chicago, Central Division Board Member; HFS Scholarship Mentor; Junior Achievement Volunteer; and Big Brothers / Big Sisters Volunteer.
David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, with a concentration in Accounting, from the University of Virginia – McIntire School of Commerce in 1992, and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Texas at Austin – McCombs School of Business in 1997. Prior to joining Riveron, he was a Client Development Partner at Tatum. He has also served as a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, Vice President of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Auditor for PwC.
