Riveron Consulting Adds Two New Directors in Atlanta

Riveron is pleased to announce the hiring of Nathan Childers and Geoff Tirone as directors in Riveron’s Atlanta office.

“We are thrilled to expand our Atlanta team with the addition of Geoff and Nathan,” said Levi Preston, principal and market leader for Riveron. “Both are results-driven leaders with proven track records of success in client service and industry and will no doubt help grow and diversify our Atlanta practice through their commitment to relationship building and outstanding client service throughout the lifecycle of a business.”

Childers brings more than 17 years of business management experience to Riveron. He has a history of establishing and growing consulting practices as well as managing business operations across a variety of markets, both in the federal and commercial sectors. As the director of business development, Childers will be responsible for relationship development, account management and brand awareness in the southeast.

Childers’ career was originally grounded in Big Four accounting as a Certified Public Accountant, and he has since held various leadership roles as an executive vice president at Preparis, Inc., co-founder and president at The Childers Group LLC, and managing director for DRT Strategies, Inc. Childers also previously served as an infantry captain in the United States Army. His experience includes M&A advisory, financial auditing, operations management, and finance and IT-related program management.

Childers received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Appalachian State University and his Masters of Science in accountancy at Wake Forest University.

gtirone-_DirectorGeoff Tirone

Tirone brings 22 years of experience working with both private equity and corporate clients in the financial services, retail, technology and energy industries. In his new role, Tirone will be responsible for leading projects, growing relationships, and managing client service teams in the southeast.

Throughout his career, Tirone has held leadership positions in public accounting, consulting and operational services, including the role of chief financial officer of two private equity-owned companies. Most recently, as CFO for SWDS Holdings, Tirone successfully led the company through its first external audit and consolidated the financial reporting for eight separate corporations onto a single accounting platform. Prior to his CFO roles, Geoff spent 17 years in the assurance and transaction advisory practices of KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Tirone received his Bachelor of Science in business administration, accounting from Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.
